What To Expect

This class will provide an overview of drawing concepts and techniques to provide an artist with a foundation to build their skills. Using graphite pencil, subjects covered will include line control, drawing from observation, shading, and how to use references to draw from imagination. We will create and experiment at the Artists' Edge classroom in Poulsbo.

Beginning & intermediate drawers are welcome. This is a fundamental course designed for beginners, ages 14 & up. Experienced drawing students are welcome to join the fun and learn new techniques. This semi-private class is limited to six students.

*If you can't make one of the scheduled dates in the term, you will be allowed one make-up class the following month. We are artists, therefore flexible. Don't let a schedule conflict prevent you from joining the fun!

Instructor Trent Shadburne, local artist/illustrator. Trent completed his Bachelor of fine arts in visual communication, locally at Northwest College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration and entertainment art.
